Build a better contract with economics |

Labor negotiations depend on numbers: comparisons, costs, benefits, wages, inflation, real wages, trends, living wages and ultimately, compromises. I specialize in providing detailed, timely and accurate information to management teams negotiating, mediating, or arbitrating collective bargaining agreements. Negotiators need a wide range of data and economic studies, from simple statistical descriptions to cost/benefit analyses of complex proposals. I provide all economic analysis necessary for negotiators. These generally fall into three categories: 1. Comparisons of wages and benefits with similar groups of employees. 2. Costs of proposals, both direct and indirect. 3. Economic environment, which is a catch-all category including inflation, unemployment and industry trends. Having the right numbers is only half the work. A thick sourcebook of economic information is only useful if you can quickly find the relevant data, put it into context and present it at the negotiating table. I deliver results in a clear and understandable manner in all formats: oral presentations, written reports or expert witness testimony. |
